Stamp Duty Holiday

Looking to sell? The countdown to the tax holiday deadline has begun. Time is running out.

Buyers are rushing to make the most of the Stamp Duty tax holiday which ends in just a few months.

Now is the time to sell.

Since the tax holiday, the average stamp duty bill for buyers has fallen by £4,500, meaning they are more likely to meet asking prices. Buyers are wanting to make the most of these tax savings, and get into their new homes before the holiday ends.

Why should I sell now?

You may think you have plenty of time to sell your house before the 31st March 2021 deadline. You don’t.

It takes, on average, 12 weeks to complete on a home sale which means you’d need to have an offer accepted by 6th January 2021 to make the most of the stamp duty savings. With several stages, frequent delays, and multiple people involved, selling a home can take longer than you think.

How can I speed up my sale?

We now offer an all-new marketing package, specifically designed to help you sell quicker. It includes social media adverts, professional photography and Premium Listings on some of the UK’s largest property websites to get your home in front of more buyers. More eyes on your property means:

Extra viewings
Better offers
A quicker sale
